Langley Flight Foundation Open House

The Langley Flight Foundation is commemorating the first sustained power aircraft flight conducted on May 6, 1896 over the Potomac River and Stafford County. This occasion will show the replica of the Aerodrome #5, the aircraft that made this historic flight. The replica will be on permanent display in the terminal building of Stafford Regional Airport. Several kiosks will also be on positioned inside the terminal building so that visitors can interactively learn about this flight as well as access other information about Stafford County, aviation related web sites and other items of interest.
