This is the regular monthly meeting of Chapter 1099. The meeting will be held in the Stafford Regional Airport Terminal Building. Enter through the south door (to the left as you face the front of the terminal building. The meeting will start at 7:00 pm.
Founded in 1992, the Young Eagles program is dedicated to giving youth ages 8–17, an opportunity to go flying in a general aviation airplane. These flights are offered free of charge and are made possible through the generosity of EAA member volunteers

Meeting at the Stafford Regional Airport Terminal Building, entrance through the left side of the building when facing the terminal from the parking lot. Meeting starts at 7:00 PM
Proceeds go to the non-profit group Helping Children Worldwide and Mercy Hospital. During the race itself, which will be from 6-8:00pm, the runway will be closed to all aircraft.
The Runway 15 Extension opening is scheduled for Friday, 16 September at 5:00 PM. At that time the runway will be commissioned open to its full 6,000' length. The NW taxiway and connector will still be under construction and will likely be open the last week of October.
